The blades are not powerful at all. If you try to cut your hair using the 0 length, you will have to go over the area of your beard or hair over and over and over again. It is a very weak hair cutter, I cannot stress that enough. I believed these reviews about how there is no difference between this and the other more expensive brands and I bought it thinking I had a gotten a great deal. But this is truly a cheap, cheap product in every sense of the word.
