The electric pulsing and the quality blades do the namesake of this razor serious justice. It really does just glide. My method... I shave in two passes. I shave my whole face once with mostly down strokes and then on the second pass I do up strokes. This method and this razor has gotten me the closest shave and with minimal or no irritation.
