It's a bit bigger than the average hot comb and the buttons are weirdly placed so that it's easy to make a mistake and turn it off while in use. However, once you get over those minute issues, it does the job and does it well :). I noticed that this was being shipped from Target, so I actually saved myself the [shipping] money and went to a local Target and got it myself. Since I have very coarse, thick, nappy, shoulder length hair that requires high heat to press out, I did not believe this tool would do the job. After applying a small amount of cream satin press to each hair section and placing it on setting 20, I finished my entire head of hair in 20 minutes.
